Xiaomi confirmed a few weeks ago that MIUI 13 based on Android 12 will be unveiled by the end of 2021. There are practically a few days left until the new version of the OS arrives. Ahead of the official launch though, details have emerged regarding builds already in the works for a few top smartphones. However, this OS would initially be available in China, until it reaches a stable version internationally.
According to Xiaomi, the new MIUI 13 build is ready for 9 devices. These are Xiaomi premium terminals and some Redmi smartphones. So here are the builds that will soon arrive on the phones:
These builds are not yet available for download. Xiaomi might release these updates exclusively for software testers in the coming days. However, we note that the manufacturer has been working on the new version for several months and was part of the Android 12 Beta program, the OS having already been tested on models such as Xiaomi Mi 11, Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11i, Mi 11X Pro. Considering that the new version is ready, the company would announce an official launch event for MIUI 13 any moment.
I remind you that the models mentioned above should receive the stable update until the end of 2021. However, the list of terminals receiving MIUI 13 based on Android 12 is long. Other models will receive the update only in 2022. The list of Xiaomi smartphones that will receive the new Android version is available here!
