The Covid-19 Pandemia forced both public and private institutions to move much of activity in the online environment.
The Alba Iulia Court of Appeal was no exception, and the "Electronic File" application, implemented at the level of the rounded courts, was a real success in 2020.
If in 2019, the year in which the application was launched, there were only 16.185 hits, in 2020, the number of hits doubled.
More specifically, 367 were recorded.956 Application uses.Only at the Alba Iulia Court of Appeal, there were 2131 access requests compared to 700 requests as they existed in 2019.
Also 72.218 Communications from the courts were sent in electronic format to the parties involved in the judged files.

The data were presented by the representatives of the Alba Iulia Court of Appeal, on Friday, January 22, during a press conference in which the 2020 balance was presented.
More than that and a good part of the trial activity was carried out in the online environment, where this was possible.Most of those arrested preventively, either in a restraint center or in a penitentiary were heard by video conference system.
What is the electronic file?
Electronic folder is an application developed by I specialists.T.of the courts.
Through the application, the parties of a folder can view and download the attached documents, a single authentication is sufficient to view all files.
In order to have access to the electronic file, it is sufficient that in the documents submitted to the court, preferably in the introductory part, to be mentioned: e-mail address and mobile phone.

443 Cases/Judge at Alba Iulia Court of Appeal in 2020.The court, on the 5th place in the country
The Alba Iulia Court of Appeal was located in 2020 in the 5th place in terms of the load on the scheme, with 443 cases/judge, compared to the average in the country that was 466 and on the 5th place at the charge by the judge, with 553 cases/Judge, compared to the country in the country of 523 files.

Fewer new criminal and civilian files, more social insurance and litigation with professionals
In 2020, out of the total number of 105.601 new cases entered at the courts in the district of the Alba Iulia Court of Appeal:
- 20.683 cases were registered in criminal matters, with 206 less than in 2019, in percentage by -0.98%,
- 51.188 Causes in civil matters, 9.780 fewer than in 2019, in percentage by -16.04% causes,
- 7.527 Causes in the matter of litigation with professionals, with 2.274 less than in 2019, in percentage with-23.20%
- 4.880 causes in the matter of work litigation, with 1.113 more than in 2019, in percentage with+29.54%.
- 3.411 Causes in the matter of social insurance, with 1.082 more than in 2019, in percentage with +46.45%.
- 7.188 causes in minor and family matter, with 1.289 less than in 2019, in percentage by -15.20%.
- 9.395 Causes in administrative and fiscal litigation matter, with 428 less than in 2019, in percentage with-4.35%.

Causes entered Civil Lases increased in 2020, compared to 2019, Cu1.525, inprocessing +55.17%.Within the ContencioSad director, fiscal and insolvency section the number of new causes entered the decay at 2.498 in 2019, at 2.152.At the criminal section there were registered with 75 cases more than in the previous year.
