Appearing in the brochures as the "awesome camera", the optical stabilization camera available with the mid-range Galaxy A series equipment will be available on the entire range of Galaxy A 2022 phones. The move is part of Samsung's new marketing strategy , aiming to make the Galaxy A range of phones more competitive against products delivered by the competition.
Allowing for better image quality, especially for low-light shots, Optical Image Stabilization technology first appeared on the Galaxy A52 and A72 series, rumored long before Samsung make the official announcement. With many months left until the announcement of the new generation of phones, the same rumors are starting to resurface, yes targeting the entire Galaxy A 2022 series of phones.
Thus, if in the current generation Samsung has set as the minimum price for the inclusion of OIS technology the threshold of $250, requested for the Galaxy A22 model, it seems that this equipment will become standard for the entire Galaxy A offer. The main reason being that this family of products makes up the bulk of sales for Samsung, with the South Korean manufacturer keen not to see its current market share eroded by products from rival brands from China, which are increasingly popular with buyers in emerging markets.
For now, we can only assume that the inclusion of this equipment does not come with price increases on the entry-level segment. Samsung is expected to unveil the next generation Galaxy A early next year.
