The joy of a Lego game is that it stimulates your creativity and makes you a part of that story. The creators of the Brickit app see things a little differently.

If you're into Lego games, then you kind of know how it all works. Each game is themed and the instructions are clear so you can assemble and create exactly the product the company envisioned. You can even have thousands of Lego pieces at your disposal.

But what do you do when you have old pieces left and you collect them all in one place, but you don't know what to do with them?

The people at Brickit claim to have the solution.

Brickit, the application that deals with Lego pieces left "outside"

The application that

Brickit is counting on the fact that there are many Lego enthusiasts who would like to use the remaining pieces for something else, but have no ideas. The app promises suggestions for reusing and reassembling old parts, using augmented reality techniques. All you have to do is scan, directly from the app, the pieces and you immediately get suggestions on how you can use them.

The whole process takes a few seconds, and from here on, it's up to you how long it takes you to create a new project from the old parts.

For now, the app is only available for iOS users, but maybe it will come to Android soon.

Many argue, however, that the app is, in fact, useless - because it kills exactly what a Lego game gives you, that is, the ability to put your mind to work to come up with something creative. Sure, the Brickit app only gives you suggestions, but some people don't need that.

Lego's worldwide success cannot be denied. The story began in the last century, precisely in 1955. Since then, every LEGO piece is designed in such a way that it can be connected with any other.

The village of Billund in Denmark, where the creator of the game lived, has become a tourist attraction, and LEGO has established itself as a real toy empire.
