After weeks of rumors and speculation about the new Galaxy Z Fold 3 5G and Z Flip 3 5G, the newest and most expensive smartphones in the Samsung portfolio have been officially confirmed. Plus, all the features you might be interested in are already online.
Continuing the tradition of ignoring the needs of ordinary mortals who want a top smartphone with useful features at a decent price, the South Koreans from Samsung unveiled their new phones. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 has a starting price of 5199 lei, while its even more arrogant sibling starts at 8899 lei.
If you think that these are not terminals for regular users, nor will they help increase the free-falling market share of the South Koreans a bit, you are absolutely right. The good part, if we can call it that, is that two years ago, the starting price was around 10,000 lei for a foldable smartphone from Samsung.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 are available for pre-order starting August 11 and will be released on August 27 starting in select markets such as the US, Europe and Korea. Z Flip 3 is available in 7 color variants, and Z Fold 3, in three variants.

The larger ZFold 3 5G model is 50% heavier than the Z flip 3 (271 grams) and is built around a 7.6-inch main screen with a secondary 6.2-inch screen. It has 12GB of RAM and, for the first time, can be used with a stylus that you'd traditionally associate with the Galaxy Note series. The front camera is located under the display and is 4MP, F1.8. The main catch part is found on the back and has the following specifications:
12MP Ultra Wide Camera: F2.2, Pixel size: 1.12μm, FOV: 123˚12MP Wide-angle Camera: Dual Pixel AF, OIS, F1.8, Pixel size: 1.8μm, FOV: 83˚12MP Telephoto Camera: PDAF, F2.4, OIS, Pixel size: 1.0μm, FOV: 45˚Dual OIS, 0.5x – 2x optical zoom, up to 10x digital zoom, HDR10+ recording, AF tracking
