While the distribution process of the final update One UI 4.0 (based on Android 12) has already started on the Galaxy S21 series, in the case of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 foldable models we will have something to wait until this release. We learn today that the distribution of the One UI 4 Beta 2 update to these foldable terminals has only just begun, with many bugs fixed and system-level optimizations applied.
From the reported data, we are talking here about the firmware identified with the name ZUKA in the name and about solving many problems discovered in the first Beta release delivered last month. On the list we have the solution of UI slowdowns and also improvements for automatic connection to Wi-Fi networks.
The lockscreen issues were also resolved, and the performance of the camera was improved. Also, the UI now responds better to commands, and in terms of availability, these releases are now being distributed in South Korea and are expected in other regions in the coming days, of course, where the beta testing program is officially open.
At this rate, I expect that by the end of November or at the latest in the first week of December, we will see Android 12 in the final version on Z Flip 3, Z Fold 3.
