Last year, the Galaxy Tab S7 tablet series debuted, consisting of 11-inch and 12.4-inch models, respectively, if we think about the Plus version. Well, if the latter seemed gigantic to you, find out that the South Korean company is preparing a massive model, Ultra, with a 14.6-inch diagonal display. Today, through the popular @OnLeaks rumor (via 91mobiles) we have the first realistic renderings with this unique device.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra measures 325.8 x 207.9 mm and measures only 5.4 mm at the waist. Thus, it is much larger than the Galaxy Tab S7 +, but much thinner. As I said, the display is 14.6 inches diagonally and surprisingly, it has a "small" notch for the selfie camera. It looks like the edges around this screen are quite narrow, and a cutout was needed for the front camera.
@OnLeaks claims that the renderings are not 100% complete, and the tablet will also have a magnetic connector on one of the edges for connecting smart accessories (covers, keyboard). In the back we also notice a magnetic part, where the S-Pen should be. At such a size, we would have expected a larger variety of ports, maybe even a built-in stylus, but the tablet does not have a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
The rumor does not reveal details about the specifications, but it is possible that the device will arrive with a Snapdragon 888+ processor, Exynos 2100 or even the long-awaited Snapdragon 898, clearly talking about a high-end tablet. The device also has quad speakers and a dual photo module on the back. I would also like to remind you that the Vanilla version of this series, Galaxy Tab S8, has recently received detailed renderings, which you can see here.
Although we would have expected this lineup to be presented at the Unpacked Part 2 event that took place on Wednesday, October 20, the tablets did not appear. However, OnLeaks is of the opinion that the new series would debut by the end of 2022, possibly towards the end of November, maybe even in December.
