OS, UI & Apps Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite
One UI 2.1 makes you feel like you're on a flagship
Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite currently offers the same software experience as the Galaxy S20 models, as it comes with Android 10 and One UI 2.1. One UI remains a one-handed interface, with all the buttons and tabs in the bottom third of the screen and the contents in the top two thirds.

We have a minimalist interface, somewhat playful through the applied colors and iconography. That design and UI has not changed anything between One UI 1.0 and 2.0 or 2.1. Only Dark Mode can make the backgrounds more diffuse. For multitasking we have icons for open applications, and as usual Samsung also offers split screen and Pop-Up View. We also have that Edge section with shortcuts, which still appears from the Galaxy S7 Edge onwards, although no one asks for it.
Bixby is the virtual assistant on board, but under Siri, Alexa and Google Assistant that functionality. Activates by holding down the Power button. The aggregator of shortcuts, widgets and useful features or GIFs on the far left homescreen has now become Samsung Daily. It focuses on pragmatism a little more and doesn't add all that nonsense. You can choose which cards to display anyway. It looks like the restaurants in the area and the Spotify playlists have disappeared before.

We also have Link to Windows, the spiritual successor to DeX. The news is Music Share, with which you make the hub phone to connect to Bluetooth speakers, but also Quick Share, an ultra-fast transfer function between Samsung terminals (exclusive). We also have Bixby Routines, automation of tasks and options, but also Dark Mode to save your eyes from too intense shades. On the security side we have the facial unlock, but without IR it doesn't make sense, because it's easy to fool with a picture.
The optical fingerprint reader integrated in the screen does its job well and is fast and accurate, like the Galaxy S10 and S20. We can go to layouts, widgets, navigation effects, remove navigation buttons and replace them with gestures. Android 10 brings back swipes to Back. In Settings we find a One Hand Mode. We also have Game Launcher, Dual Messenger (two Messenger accounts on the same phone), but also Digital Wellbeing to count how long we are on the phone.
There is also Always On Display and Galaxy Store here, the Samsung store, which comes with offers, discounts and exclusives. We also have Spotify and Netflix pre-installed, and the Gallery app comes with all sorts of photo / video editing options on the Galaxy Note 10+. We also have Notes for taking notes, plus Single Take in the room taken from the S20.

Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite Conclusions
I've tested a lot of phones, but I think this is the first time I've thought that a phone with "Lite" in its name doesn't deserve its name. That's because it's superior to the S10e, S10, even S10 + in a few important chapters. It's all about sound, back quality and zoom. SO MUCH! If you can live with these 3 aspects without being turned to level 100, but to a level 70, then the phone deserves your attention. Of course, the performance is above the Galaxy S10 series, the Macro capture is a bit extra, it doesn't heat up, the fingerprint reader is great and the battery beats the S10 and S20 series as well.
It's better at games than any Samsung phone from 2019, at least the ones with Exynos, and on the battery I think it's in the top 3 Samsung phones all the time.
