Revolut is launching a web version of the app for over 13 million users in the European Economic Area (EEA), Australia, Canada, Singapore, Switzerland, Japan and the United States.
Revolut users can now access their account in the app via a browser on a computer or laptop.
The web application offers flexibility and security, thanks to two-factor authentication (2FA), in case a Revolut customer has lost their phone or card or simply prefers to check their account on the computer.
What can you do with your Revolut account directly from your browser?
The web application provides full visibility into your Revolut account, transaction history, and cards. Users can also lock or unlock a card and PIN. They can enable and disable their card security settings.
Revolut customers can now fund their account from the web application, by bank transfer, via a debit or credit card or with the help of the Apple Pay service, if the browser used is Safari.
Authentication in the web version of the application is extremely simple. Users must access the secure Revolut page, enter their phone number, and follow the steps on the screen.
Although the web version of the app is completely secure, Revolut customers should still be wary of messages promoting this feature.
