Lenovo recently launched a lot of peripherals, but also new laptops from the ThinkPad range. Along with them, new monitors have debuted, as well as a webcam that attaches easily to them. These are the ThinkVision T24m-20 monitor and the M15 Mobile model, a unique, compact and lightweight monitor designed for use with a laptop. We have details about the new models below.
Lenovo ThinkVision T24m-20
The screen of this monitor is IPS LCD and measures 23.8 inches diagonally. The resolution is Full HD and can display up to 16.7 million colors. However, the 60Hz refresh rate is not recommended as a gaming monitor. Its aspect ratio is 16: 9 and offers a contrast of 1000: 1 and 72% NTSC gamut. The monitor is TÜV Rheinland Eye Comfort certified, reducing blue light emissions for increased eye comfort. He can also rotate and tilt at will. Lenovo ThinkVision M15 Mobile
As the name suggests, this is a portable monitor, being a laptop extension. It is a 15.6 inch IPS LCD display with Full HD resolution and 60Hz refresh rate. The contrast is 1000: 1 and offers an NTSC gamut of 45%. The response time in this case is 6 ms, and the brightness reaches 250 nits. It is also TÜV Rheinland Eye Comfort certified to reduce blue light emissions.
As a support, it has a small base that extends over the entire surface of the monitor, offering additional ports in the same area. We are talking about 2 USB 3.2 Type-C ports. One is used to connect to a compatible notebook, the other to attach peripherals. Unfortunately, this monitor will rely on a connected laptop battery to operate. The price is 229 euros and will be available from the 3rd quarter of 2021.
Lenovo ThinkVision MC50 Webcam Monitor
Lenovo has also announced a new webcam, designed specifically for the ThinkVision T24m-20 monitor. It can be easily set up and easily connected to any monitor, however, via a USB cable. The sensor used here measures 1 / 2.9 inch and offers 1080p filming. It can focus and shoot ultra-wide at 90 degrees. The sensor also supports 4x digital zoom and can be hidden if the webcam is not in use.
It also offers two microphones that can pick up sound from 2 meters away and supports noise cancellation. Lenovo ThinkVision MC50 Monitor Webcam will be sold for 99 euros.
