If you judge the new BMW iX by the criteria applied to the cars BMW has made so far, things look strange from the first shout. But if you do that, you haven't understood anything BMW wants to convey and offer to the end customer. It's also the wrong thing to do, given everything that's going on in the industry right now.

BMW iX is only a fragment of the huge electrification plan woven by the manufacturer from Munich. It is the exponent of a new generation, coming from behind, a parallel, if you will, between the Sci-Fi series Star Trek from 1987 and the German manufacturer's plans for the coming years. That's why judging the iX by the old models is a mistake, because it's simply something else. It is a spearhead that does not fit into old patterns, but breaks them and creates its own rules.
