BlackBerry seemed to be just a name from the past, which we remember from time to time through older movies. But that's not the case, and the company is still holding on and is preparing to launch a device with 5G connectivity, a physical keyboard and Android operating system. In addition, the new devices will be launched in partnership with Foxconn, the Chinese manufacturer that also helps Apple make phones.
There are currently no official photos of the phone, but Concept Creator and LetsGoDigital have taken care of this issue and created not only a concept, but a video dedicated to the new BlackBerry Key 3. In this video we can see a huge phone with a physical keyboard that appears to be part of the curved display that extends over the edges of the device.
The BlackBerry Key 3 as it is shown in this video seems to be similar in size to the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, which is extremely large. On the back of the device, the manufacturer placed no less than three cameras and a flash for them, next to a logo engraved in the case. You still have the classic USB Type-C on the bottom, along with a headphone jack which, although welcome, I think is unlikely to be implemented on the new phone.
But who else needs BlackBerry in the age of smartphones, and what unique features can it bring to keep it relevant? Or will it be just one of the releases we're talking about now, do we know anything when we see him live and completely forget about him?
