How Big Are Your Yahoo Mail Issues?
The most affected region is Europe. The Down Detector platform, which collects customer complaints when an online service no longer works, shows that the UK, Germany, Romania, Spain and Greece are the hardest hit countries.
Users in Australia, India, but also on the west coast of the United States are also affected by the unavailability of Yahoo Mail.
Most users report having problems with authentication, accessing the site (not loading), but also not being able to read any emails (also because the message is not loading).
As the situation looks at the moment, this is the biggest problem Yahoo has gone through in recent years.
The UK either has a lot of users of Yahoo's mail service, or the servers allocated to that region are totally inefficient. That's where most of the complaints are.
Countries where Yahoo Mail has problems, but which can be used to some extent, include Poland, Belarus, France and Bulgaria. There are not many complaints in Hungary either, while in Germany there are several cities affected.
