Who is the target audience for the new HUAWEI nova 9 smartphone and what advantages does it bring compared to the competition; Here are the answers received during an interview in Vienna

As you probably remember, on October 21st we had a special envoy to Vienna where HUAWEI launched the nova 9 smartphone with great pomp, in an impressive location and with a large audience on site, this after a long period in which such events were stopped due to the pandemic. Our correspondent was Szőgyényi Zoltán, Ervin's son, who brought us the inside scoop on the nova 9, including hands-on video footage and on-site photos.

Zoltán also participated in an interview organized after the presentation event and asked some questions on behalf of Mobilissimo to Derek Yu, President Central and Eastern Europe, North and Canada for Huawei Consumer Business Group. These were the questions we asked on the spot and we found out along the way that HUAWEI puts the emphasis in the case of the nova 9 on hardware, screen, design and camera. These are some of the main elements that the target audience, the young, have in their sights when purchasing a new smartphone, and as we have seen locally, promotional campaigns focus firmly on these aspects. We also had contests involving vloggers followed by millions of young people, but also artists from the music world who appear in many promo spots alongside the nova 9.

The interview I participated in lasted over 30 minutes and of course there were other questions put to the officials, and below I leave you with some of the most important ones, with short answers, regarding the HUAWEI nova 9:

Also, there were questions about the sanctions received and restrictions active at the moment, but also questions about future products such as the Mate series. Huawei officials have stated that the HUAWEI Mate 50 is in development and will launch in 2022.

Another question that could not be overlooked was about foldables and whether HUAWEI will launch a new model of this type on the market. Well yes, a new HUAWEI foldable smartphone will be launched in Barcelona next year, right at MWC 2022 which takes place from February 28 to March 2.
