After a series of teasers, last week OnePlus confirmed the launch of the Nord 2 special edition PAC-MAN phone, revealing only a few aspects and not the device in its entirety. We found out details about the available configuration (12+256GB), that the phone will cost 529 euros and that there is also a contest through which those who get high scores in the Pac-Man game can win this new smartphone. Now we discover hands-on photos of the terminal.
In the related images we see both the box with the PAC-MAN logo and the back panel adopted by this phone with the famous character from the game. From what we previously learned, the back has been reimagined with a dual-layer design and phosphorescent ink applied to the inner layer. Thus, those dotted elements in the background will glow in the dark, presenting the game's classic maze.
We also have changes at the software level where we find a revised and completed OyxgenOS with the PAC-MAN character, and OnePlus promises a "gamified" experience. We have games, challenges, exclusive PAC-MAN elements and even hidden easter eggs. The OnePlus Nord 2 x PAC-MAN Edition will sell for 529 euros and we are still waiting for its full reveal in the coming days.
