Miui can usually be found in two variants:
In addition to the two variants presented above, some terminals have two versions of each variant - the global and the Chinese.Chinese versions do not contain Google services, come pre -installed with multiple applications for users in China and have very few linguistic options for the graphic interface.Global versions do not contain those applications that many consider bloatware, have Google applications and services, offer a wider linguistic support and in most cases they receive updates later than Chinese versions.
There are many reasons why you would like to install a different version than the pre -installed one on your terminal, such as the possibility to try the new options faster, the ability to unlock its bootload to support other languages, and in today's tutorial.I will show you how simple this process is.
CAREFUL!This process will delete all data stored in the internal memory of the phone. For this reason I recommend that before going further to make a complete backup of personal files and data.More details about this process will find by clicking here.
What do you need?
1. Access en.miui.com/download.html, select the model of your terminal and download the desired miU variant.
NOTĂ: Unele terminale, cum este și cazul lui Redmi Note 3, dispun de variante multiple – Qualcomm și Mediatek. Descarcă ROM-ul corect pentru varianta pe care o deții.
2. Transfer the Rom into .zip format to the internal memory of the phone, directly to the main folder. You can download the file and directly from the phone to remove the transfer process and the need for a PC.
3. From the phone menu opens the Update app, press the 3-deck-right-handed button and choose the Choose Update Package.
4. Locate and select the .zip file containing the chosen ROM.At this moment the terminal will begin to delete the data and install the new Roma.At the end of the process your terminal will restart and you will be welcomed with the welcome screen.
Congratulations! You managed to install a different version of Miui Rom on your Xiaomi terminal.
