Huawei Mate X2 is one of the few foldable phones from a large brand launched in 2021.Completely changes the format and design towards Predeceosos, passing from the folding screen to one with an inside screen. Are preţ recomandat de 2300 de euro şi îl scoatem din cutie mai jos...And more than that we tell you what the impressions and conclusions are after 24 hours of use.
Launched by Huawei at the end of February 2021, the phone no longer has holes or braces on the foldable screen, leaving the selfie camera on the outside.Mark two premieres: the first foldable phone with the periscopic chamber and the first with 5 Nm processor.
Unboxing
In the box we find a bag, SIM key, handbook, USB-C connector, 66W charger similar to Huawei Mate 40 Pro.
Design
Huawei Mate X2 is made of glass and aluminum and comes with a waist of 8.2 mm open and 14.7 mm closed. It weighs 295 grams, so if you have pants from Cropp Town or Vagabond, pull them down and run out of noises, if you don't have a strap. The format is now foldable to the outside, that is, you open it on a book, that at Galaxy Fold. His predecessors were folding inward and leaving the screen on the outside, more exposed to scratches. It is not very clear to me what protection we have on the foldable panel, but I would say it's a plastic one.
The fingerprint reader was side, it is accessible in that position and what I noticed from the first is that we have no goal between the two phone halves, as we saw at the Samsung folds. Here the “pieces” are well attached. It's a great thing and we don't have a visible and palpable fold too easily on the center of the 8 -inch screen. You have to look carefully with your eyes and fingers to see and feel.Huawei quotes here a teardrop design, with liquid metal and zirconium mechanisms inside.
The hinge is stiffer and has less folding angles than Galaxy Z Fold 2: practically only 2: 180 degrees and 90 degrees. Construcţia e solidă, iar acestea ar fi putea fi "cel mai plat panou" pliabil odată deschis complet. The back is a fingerprint magnet, and the phone stands ok in the hands and hand.A little harder as if on the side of the room.
Display
The main 8 -inch screen, the foldable one has the edges neither too narrow nor too thick, as long as you can hold it thoroughly.I also notice that we have much less galare than in predecessors and rivals. We are talking about an 8 -inch OLED interior panel, with refresh of 90 Hz and 2480 x 2200 pixels resolution. On the outside we have a cover display, an OLED of 6.45 inches, with a resolution of 2700 x 1160 pixels, plus refresh of 90 Hz rates. We had time to test the brightness and reached 567 luxury on the interior screen and 561 luxury on the outer one.
It's over Galaxy Z Fold 2 with about 10 luxury and over Mate XS with 100+ Lux.It seems to me a brightly colored screen, with wide viewing angles and a pleasant viewing experience (and the internal and external) experience.Cutta does not see much and if you have a hawk eyes on the white background.
Hardware and benchmark
Inside we have a Kirin 9000 processor of 5 Nm, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro, 8 GB RAM, 256 GB storage and Nano Memory Slot. The phone has no lag in open games and applications, that's what I found.Nor does it warm up in Alde Asphalt 9.I also did benchmark tests, reaching 950 points in Geekbench 5 Single Core and 3387 in many core.As a landmark, Huawei Mate XS had 770/3011, and Galaxy Z Fold 979/3119.In Antutu 9 I reached 671.486 points and yes, only Antutu 9 was launched, so there is no point in comparing it with scores from Antutu 8.
If we are to make comparisons, however, we exceed Z Fold 2 with 75.000 points.
The 4500 mAh battery charges at 55W and we have the same capacity as at Mate XS, but below the 5000 mAh of Z Fold 2.Other features include side fingerprint reader, stereo speakers, WiFi 6, 5g.I also did a SpeedTest test, reaching 694 Mbps at WiFi Download and 638 Mbps at Upload.Excellent results
Bifam and GPS, Bluetooth 5.2, Port USB-C 3.1, NFC and infrared.
The room
In front was the 16 MP camera, integrated into a cut into the external screen. In the back was a quad camera, practically the Huawei P40 Pro+ room in the sea.Includes a 50 sqm main sensor, f/1 opening.9, laser telemeter and optical stabilization. Then comes a 12 MP Telephoto camera with PDAF and OIS, but also with 3X optical zoom. The novelty for foldables is the 8 MP Telephoto periscopic camera with optical zoom 10x.All completed with an ultrawide camera 16 MP with self -focus and role in macro capture.
We also have Leica optics, 4K shooting at 60 FPS and LED flash.I only had time for a series of photo samples on the balcony and around the block, but here are some ideas:
The zoom is fantastic, the best optical zoom in the market, as at P40 Pro+.You have relevant car samples.Over S20 ultra, S21 ultra. It is struggling with focusing on the closeup/pleasant macculuri, without detailed, clear, well-focused, FlagSHIPSI-chemochable exposure, good stabilization to panorama stabilization
Bone, ui, multitasking
We run Android 10 with EMUI 11, without Google services and applications. The key to using such a phone is multitasking.I immediately pass from the external screen to the internal screen and continue the application where you stayed, with excellent scaling. You can adjust it from settings so that you have black edges or not.Multitasking is done by dividing the screen into two, for two applications, plus a third application that the floating window fish, triggered by that sidebar. You can also do Drag and Drop between the two Half -Halfs dedicated to applications.
We use gesture -based brows. The functions on Display customizable we take them from Huawei Mate 40 Pro.The left home screen on Huawei Assistant Today Screen, with data about how long you have been in applications, shortcuts, news, weather and widgets.
We also have a game space for gamers, with optimizations for games, and Asphalt 9 has moved excellent. We also receive optimizer, which cleanses memory, hunters viruses, takes care of blacklist and security. The rest is Android as we know, with widgets, Quick Settings, notifications and applications on Homescreen.
conclusions
Huawei Mate X2 changes the format to predecessors and raises the best room on the market. It has no exaggerated braces or edges, and the screen is the brightest of the foldable. That performance is fine, it is up, and as multitasking is useful and versatile. At the same time it needs Android 11, we would have wanted wireless load and the possibility of using the foldable and external screen in tandem, in the room for example. Îmi place etanşeitatea închiderii sale, dar am sentimente mixte faţă de balama: pe de o parte e bine că e solidă, pe de altă parte unii o vor dori mai "flexibilă".
It is certain that we have a replacement of small tablet, portable console, camera, PDA if someone still knows those devices and maybe laptop exagre. The price is prohibitive, but the segment is also lined. We come back with review!
