One week after the official launch of HarmonyOS, we have the first figures related to its distribution. Huawei's platform has arrived in the HarmonyOS 2.0 version, which is already confirmed on more than 10 million terminals. The news was published by the Chinese social network QQ and we have details below.
Huawei launched HarmonyOS 2.0 on June 2nd, and now on June 9th, the threshold of 10 million devices with this OS has been crossed. After the debut, it arrived on Huawei Mate 40 and Mate 40 Pro, but also Mate 40 Pro +, Mate 30 series phones, P40 series and Mate X2. It also reached Nova 8 and dozens of other terminals. Comes pre-installed on new Huawei Watch 3 watches and MatePad Pro 2021 and MatePad 11 inch tablets. Huawei has 200 million mobile phones ready to receive this OS and rumors are circulating that it would reach even models from 2017, even 2016.
I remind you that this OS can run on any device that currently has at least 128 KB of RAM. It can run on watches, TVs, phones, tablets, cars, data centers and more. It is also designed for interconnection with Internet of Things devices, headphones, watches and appliances. Meizu has also launched the first smart wall light with HarmonyOS. We are also waiting for a move from OnePlus, whose CEO promoted a Huawei post about HarmonyOS and gave a like, which is perceived as an approach to the new operating system.
HarmonyOS 2.0 comes with the motto "One As All, All As One" and allows you to send a video you see on your phone to a tablet as well as a video game. You can send music to headphones, and there are collaborative features between devices and drag and drop transfers. Tablets have a different interface than Android, for example, with a dock bar, versatile and large widgets, as well as application sidebars. There is also mouse and keyboard support.
