WhatsApp is officially launching, after a rather long waiting period, a change that also comes with a very good function for iPhone and Android, it has already been confirmed in phones. We are talking about changes for the voice calling function, and this is because WhatsApp intends to give us a much better experience for voice calls in groups of people, all starting with an improved interface within the application for our phones.
WhatsApp here adopts a change that we already see used by Apple with FaceTime, and the design comes in a similar format in both iPhone and Android phones. You can see in the image below what the new interface looks like for WhatsApp calls from our phones, the company wants to offer us only the best possible experience, both for iPhone and Android, and everything is revealed in advance.
WhatsApp changes the call interface and allows you to join them
WhatsApp has modified the interface for group voice calls in order to give us the ability to call more easily various people in our phonebook, the buttons for initiating calls are much easier to access. In the same vein, including the buttons for participating in an ongoing WhatsApp call are easier to access, the application also displays an alert when one is in progress to help us access it much faster.
WhatsApp has only now implemented the function of joining calls in full swing, so far the platform has no such functionality offered for iPhone or Android. For now, no restrictions seem to be imposed on joining an ongoing call, so it seems that no matter how long it has been initiated, there is no limit to the option to participate in separate discussions. the one regarding the maximum number of people in a group call.
WhatsApp is currently testing these changes and intends to officially provide them to us only when they are 100 ready, even if no one knows when exactly this will happen.
