Valeriu Gheorghiță, the coordinator of the national vaccination campaign, said on Tuesday that, if the urgent adoption of the law on the obligation of the green certificate at work was rejected, it means that we do not have an epidemiological emergency and warned that "what we sow in the present moment, that's what we'll pick up later."

"If the urgency was rejected, I understand that we do not have an epidemiological emergency and I believe that what we sow at the moment, that is what we will reap later. This is what I understand as a person and as the coordinator of the vaccination campaign", answered Valeriu Gheorghiță when asked how he sees the rejection of the emergency debate of the law that stipulates the obligation of the green certificate in the workplace.

"I believe that we must take those measures that are coherent, that are logical so that on the one hand they will associate a reduction in the risk of infection at the population level, but equally stimulate the vaccination rate. Because otherwise, if our measures are only to reduce the number of cases, how can certain restrictive measures be, but in no way do we manage to increase the vaccination coverage rate, we will have the same receptive and susceptible population for the coming months . The situation will not change. We must have a vision at the moment, not for one month, not for two months, but for the period of the following months and even next year", underlined Valeriu Gheorghiță.
