The government has introduced the female exposure of the professions in the Classifier of occupations in the Republic of Moldova
The ministers office approved today the structure of the occupations classifier in the Republic of Moldova.
The document provides for the exposure to the female occupations in the classifier, according to the proposals of the Council for the prevention and elimination of discrimination and ensuring equality, as well as the recommendations of European institutions on ensuring the principle of equality and equity between women and men.
It should be mentioned that the names of the occupations were exposed to the feminine only in cases where the respective form is attested in the lexicographic sources.
The names of occupations were classified into 10 major groups and 40 major subgroups, 127 minor groups and 433 basic groups.
The classifier of occupations in the Republic of Moldova applies in all areas of economic and social activity and is mandatory for all central and local public administration authorities, enterprises, organizations and institutions, regardless of the type of property and form of legal organization, and other legal and natural persons.which operates on the territory of the Republic of Moldova, when completing the official documents, whenever the indication of the occupation is required.
