We also have a lot of portals, subscriptions, it is clear that the Romanian is a big consumer of telecom services. Few, however, know all the rules and regulations of a subscription contract and more importantly consumer rights. ANCOM has made an official post informing you about the termination after a short period from the conclusion of a contract.
Thus, if you have entered into a distance contract for a telephone service, you should know that you have the right to change your mind and withdraw from the contract, without giving any reason, within 14 days from the date of conclusion of the contract. During this pandemic period, distance contracts appear more and more often and we are talking here about those concluded by phone, via letter, email, online applications and the like.
Here are the ANCOM specifications regarding the data and information transmitted by the operator / supplier before concluding the distance contract (taken from ANCOM.ro):

The supplier will have to inform you about the right of withdrawal, both at the presentation of the offer and at its confirmation and conclusion of the contract. You must also receive a withdrawal form. If you have not received this information, the term in which you can withdraw from the contract is extended to 12 months.
If you have received a device, physically produced under the respective contract, it must be returned within 14 days from the date of notification of withdrawal. Complaints can be made to ANPC, and more details about the procedures can be found here.
