The beginning of November comes with news about what products HUAWEI is preparing for us, being, as the title of this post says about a rival Samsung Galaxy Smart Tag and Apple AirTag. It is a stray object tracking device that will be called HUAWEI S-Tag, as revealed by the trademark newly granted by EUIPO in Europe.
In the trademark application in question we see that the name can be associated with products such as smartwatch, smart glasses, smart ring, activity tracker, data processor. It is clear that this is not a smartwatch or other smart devices mentioned here, but a compact tracker that we will attach to the backpack, keys or other objects that we usually get lost in the house.
It is unclear when this new product will launch, and there is a possibility that this application is just the way HUAWEI patents the S-Tag name for future use. Earlier, HUAWEI surprised the public with the launch of the FreeBuds Lipstick wireless headphones that come in a lipstick-shaped carrying case.
