The RO-ALERT warning system was set up to quickly alert citizens in Romania to various life-threatening emergencies. Lately, however, repeated alerts on the platform have begun to annoy users, both on Android and iOS devices. Although not indicated, as a real emergency might occur at any time, these alerts can be quickly turned off in the phone menu. After this operation, the Ro-Alert service will no longer send audible or visual notifications. You can reactivate the service by checking back the 3 options above.
