The vibrations transmitted by the powerful motorcycles can damage the cameras of the iPhone phones, the company announced, according to BBC.
The American giant has issued a warning stating that iPhone phones should not be attached to powerful motorcycles, writes BBC, taking over the MacRumors website.
Engine vibration may affect the image stabilizer or autofocus system, according to the document.
This can be due to vibrations of high amplitudes and a certain frequency, which are most often encountered in motorcycles with powerful engines.
Several users have complained on social media that their phones have broken down after they were attached to the motorcycle, the BBC also writes.
According to Apple, several iPhone models are at risk.
Affectable phone systems have been designed to counterbalance motion, vibration, or gravity.
But motorcycles with powerful and very noisy engines generate "intense high-amplitude vibrations", which can be transmitted to the phone through the chassis and handlebars.
"Direct exposure to high-amplitude vibrations at a certain frequency can affect the performance of these systems, which will lower the quality of photo and video images," the document said.
The solution is that the phone is no longer attached directly to the motorcycle, which is done by many motorcyclists, in order to use the navigation function of the phone.
